Mission Statement
At Radiant Dance Academy, our mission is to inspire, educate, and empower our dancers. We are committed to an environment that nurtures creativity, discipline, and self-expression. Radiant Dance Academy strives to create a vibrant community so every dancer can achieve their fullest potential and radiate their unique brilliance.
Our Faculty
Our instructors are trained in the arts of Ballet, Lyrical, Contemporary, Jazz, Hip Hop and Tap. We as instructors thrive on watching our students excel in the art of dance. We want nothing more than for our students to succeed and become exceptional young dancers and individuals. Our goal is to teach our students not only how to dance, but how to strengthen themselves mentally and physically to prepare them for their own roles in society.
Our Programs
Radiant Dance Academy is a competitive studio that offers recreational classes to children ages 3-6 that are not ready to compete. Our competition lines include Petites, Minis, Juniors, and Seniors. At RDA dancers develop life long friendships and memories that will last forever.

Abby Powell: Owner/Instructor
Abby is the Owner and Director of Radiant Dance Academy! Abby has long dreamed of brining her vision for Dance to the Williston community! Abby began her dance career at age 5, and started competitively dancing at the age of 8 in Williston ND. Abby has trained in Ballet, Jazz, Lyrical, Contemporary, Modern, Tap, and Hip Hop. Throughout Abby’s Dance career she has attended conventions and taken classes from renowned instructors all over the country. Abby has been teaching both recreational and competitive dance classes since 2018. Abby is also certified in preschool AcroDance. During Abby’s time as a competitive coach she has choreographed 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place award winning dances and has received an impressive amount of choreography awards. Abby is so excited to continue her journey of leading Dancers to success!!
Courtney Casto Recreational/Competitive Instructor
For as long as I can remember, my life was eat, sleep, breathe, dance… And I’ve never wanted it any other way! I was a dancer for 16 years. In those 16 years I started student teaching when I was 11 years old then later started teaching my own class at 13. I trained in Ballet, Lyrical, Contemporary, Hip Hop, and Technique! Prior to
moving to Williston, I danced at a competitive dance studio in Arizona that gave me many amazing experiences and learning opportunities. I was taught by several different teachers and guest teachers! Some of the amazing opportunities I got to have were performing at Disney Land 2 times, participating in numerous dance competitions, conventions, and workshops. In 2015 I had the opportunity to perform at the Celebration Nationals in Wisconsin as a Dancer of the Year finalist. I have also danced in the Miss North Dakota pageant 3 times, then later got to assist in choreography
for the pageant! I have been awarded top high scoring awards, choreography awards, and scholarships while competing and teaching.
Sharing the love and passion for dance is why I became a dance teacher. Helping dancers grow and achieve any and everything they want to. Teaching brings me so much joy. I hope to be able to teach dancers to be confident in themselves, to believe in their talents, and to dance with endless passions
